Hahas it's been awhile since my last entry.
hm. Basically i gort this very serious flu and throat infection dat put me lying on da bed since last thursday . yea , one whole week! Doing nothin'! except for watchin teebees, using coms , eatin pills and nappin with my teddy bears.
Yeah so today i decided to TRY coming to skool . Hey guys i nv pon skool ok! I know alot of u think i pon lorh! i didn't! And must give me credit for comin to skool even though i m still not feelin well. KAY!?
Hee,but i came for a reason too .
It's to DANCE. wuhahahahas.
TOday's wednesday, the official day for CCA.
U know what? Me and zouk's promoted to be the instructor for modern dance. And martin's now the captain of modern dance group ,taking charge HALF of the cca(muhahahas) . ho ho ho. yeah pass to our young ones the martin zuk hiphop concepts man!
Hee must say thanks to zouk here, cos he actualli came out with a dance already ,which is quite alrite ! It's as good as the one corny+ Eebeng choreo(Art fusion piece) for us last yr.Luckily, u did ur hw dude! If not we gonna rot in the studio , we look at em, they look at us.hahas. hey I'll choreo one too aite? den we combine to be a piece. perfect!
o den today there's guys too. the Freshies i mean. Yea finally not so tense today cos last time used to surround by girls only. Very stressed. And Martin's super shy i tell u. hahahas.
hm After the session i coughed n threw out everything. o well, it seems like i still can't do vigourous dance yet. =( wah see! very big sacrifice ! dance worth more den my life. My passion. =P

How it all started for me.
THE MSHS ERA(ahahahaa):
hey lookin back at my maris stella days , i nv thought i would ever choose to dance.
UNTIL i saw this group of mshs breakdancers . Sampson, Terrence , Desmond , the STD.lol.
Hhaaa sec 4 dat time they were always doin handstands and pike in the voiddeck.
it's like WOW to martin , totally awesome , i can't believe ppl can walk using their hands!
Soon i learnt that those stuffs are called 'BREAKDANCING'
hahas yeah den i joined into their grp . With a crew of 5 , we named ourselves the HANGTIME.
We break ard the esplanade area. underground , rooftop , and all. Still can rmb there's once a tourist's interested in our dance, and decided to ask us to do some moves for him to take photos.hee.
lols but it lasted only for a few months i guess. Afterthat comes the olvl , and after olvl we went on to a split road.
THE YJC ERA (2006 first 3months)
Here i am, in YJC. ha. First impression of it , this skool must be very poor. lols. But glad that they have this running track , i won't have to run uphill like da mshs days anymore. o den in this OG09 i saw Kenny! hahahas also from mshs.
o den both of us started huntin ard for which cca to choose , until we decided to join dance, since we think it's cool and can see girls dance.(see girl dance is kenny say one!'pushin blames to kenny' =p )
hahas this is the time where we first met zouk , our senior dancer. Yeah den he feed us with the club's info and stuffs. yea first impression of him , not bad, think hes pretty cool . And dancin's really interestin for me. SO both of us decided to stay, even though we are the ONLY 2 males who joined. makes up 3 if we count in zouk. haha. It's really bad.
THis few months both of us not really very active, cos we always couldn't dance on beat, keep forgettin steps and all . We gort no dance bg , we got no talent, perhaps we shld jus quit it and join sth else?
o den there comes this golden opportunities to perform. It's the danceworks'06 . I was quite excited over it. But...
the teacher forgot to write our names in!

yea finally the danceworks'06 started. wow NP's good, way too good. But ours actualli not dat bad larh. still acceptable. hee.
YJC ERA ( after first 3months) :
Kenny left for CJ ! i gort stucked here!
hahas. and soon after , Zouk left too cos he gort to prepare for alvl.
im all alone , surrounded by girls.
yea ppl think it's very shuang , but it's not shuang at all . Most of the time i feel SOOOOO out of place , not jus beacuase im the only guy , but also i gort no dancing bg , i feel like a burden to the whole club. It's really shitty durin that period of time. Sumtimes i would even think of ponnin.
Yeah den i told some of my frens i feel dam stressed over my cca. and they gave me some of their advices .( hhas so sorry , i forgot who's these frens. thanks anw)
Ha so since then , i started to put in more effort into the CCA and dance with passion.
Later, Eebeng and corny came in to teach us modern dance.
Must thank both of em here cos they really help me ALOT in dance. No em , no me. yep serious , i gort all my dance basics from em , and interest too. THey widen my dancin style and all.And Corny your poppin sure's useful! hahas my moves tend to jerk/pop alot ^^ . Some of the major achievement i gort would be the Art Fusion and Teachers' day performance .
During the hol , i watched alot of dance(all sort, even jazz n ballet ) mv , videos , and went to see various dance competition and disco to further widen my dance.
YJC ERA (2007) :
TaDA! dat's me now , martin ,crowned by Miss Chua Miss ANg , the most-improved dancer.
I bet very few ppl could dance at my level in YJ. =P ( dun dare to say none.LOLS maybe there is , all the 'er hu chang long '. ) hahahas.
